CALL FOR FILMS

The Big Island Film Festival will accept independent narrative films for 2007 Big Island Film Festival starting September 1, 2006, with final deadline of February 1, 2007.

To be eligible, narrative features and shorts must have been completed after January 1, 2006 and not have had commercial exhibition or distribution. No documentaries will be accepted. Discounted entry fees will be offered to Hawaiian films and filmmakers.

The 2007 Big Island Film Festival will run May 17-20 with three different exhibition venues, social events, filmmaker symposiums, awards and a pre-festival charity golf tournament. All profits from the golf tournament and a percentage of any profits from the film festival will go to Wounded Warrior Project.
