“Time Lapse” (BIFF 2014). Following its win at BIFF and a very successful festival run, this intriguing sci-fi thriller will play in select theatres in May, as well as digital distribution in iTunes and Amazon. BluRay and DVD planned for June.

“Druid Peak” (BIFF 2014) enjoyed a limited Los Angeles theatrical release and is now available to view on iTunes, Amazon and other digital platforms.

“The Haumana” (BIFF 2014) is the first narrative feature film about traditional hula. It is now available on DVD/Digital release following an unprecedented international theatrical run. The film’s soundtrack, featuring music by Robert Cazimero and other notables, won a Na Hoku Hanohano Award (Hawaii’s “Grammy”).

“Pretty Rosebud” (BIFF 2014) continues to play well on the film festival circuit and is available on iTunes, Amazon and other digital platforms.

“3:13” (BIFF 2014) has been picked up by Mance Distribution, after a solid run on the film festival circuit last year. Significantly, filmmakers David Jaure and Paul Alexandro were inspired to create the Homeless World Aid foundation.

“From Above” (aka “Chasing Shakespeare BIFF 2013). Winner of Best Feature and Audience Choice Feature, and many others, this film starring Danny Glover and Graham Green was picked up by Eleven-55 Films for theatrical release and is now available on Blu Ray and DVD as well as iTunes, Amazon and other digital venues.

“Project Kuleana” (BIFF 2013) is now in post-production for their third musical compilation video.

“Shouting Secrets” (BIFF 2012). After numerous festival awards, and being named one of the ten must-see Native American films of 2013 by Indian Country Magazine, this film starring Chaske Spencer and Q’orianka Kilcher is now available on iTunes.

“Get A Job” (BIFF 2011) The island-style comedy by Maui filmmaker Brian Kohne won Best Hawaii Feature and Audience Choice Feature and continued winning in festivals across the mainland and Mirabella Spain. Get A Job is available for special screenings, as well as DVD and Vimeo on Demand. Kohne is presently working on a new feature, “Kuleana.” (More info on IndieGoGo).

Kate McKinnon (BIFF 2013) has landed a role in the new all-girl “Ghostbusters.”

Self-Medicated (2006 Best Feature winner) is being distributed by Thinkfilms.

You Did What? is being distributed by Marvista Entertainment. It is currently playing on HBO throughout Europe and was just released on DVD by Lions Gate in the UK. The film will be on TV and DVD in the US in the coming months.

After its world premiere at the Big island Film Festival, PULE WAILELE screened to sold out houses at Maui Film Festival this year and received national coverage for its depiction of the Hawaiian model of environmental awareness.. Filmmaker, John Zak, traveled to Zurich, Switzerland in August 2007 to present the film, which received an overwhelmingly enthusiastic response. PULE WAILELE is distributed by Booklines Hawaii.

Little Chenier has been picked up by Radio London Films. It is being theatrically released starting in December in 10 major cities, including New York and LA.

Hog Island (BIFF 2006) was picked up by Vanguard International Cinema. It was released on DVD in April 2007, and it is available on Netflix, Amazon, ebay, and video rental shops in North America and Mexico.

Rain in the Mountains (BIFF 2007) has been picked up by Vanguard Cinema and will be released on DVD and HD DVD on February 26, 2008.

Two Tickets to Paradise (BIFF2008) is now available on DVD at Netflix and Blockbuster.
